U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) on Sunday predicted Kash Patel will release both the flight logs and client list kept by Jeffrey Epstein, the sex trafficker who allegedly committed suicide in a New York jail in 2019.
President-elect Donald Trump appointed Patel as FBI Director.
Blackburn said during an appearance on “Sunday Morning Futures” that Patel’s unique level of experience working in government qualified him for the position. He then expressed optimism that he would help secure the release of Epstein’s client list and flight records.
“Kash Patel has more experience than just about anybody coming into this position. He’s been a prosecutor,” noted Blackburn. “He’s been the Deputy DNI. He’s been the Chief of Staff at the Department of Defense. He has a well rounded background.”
The senator shared a clip from the appearance to the social media platform X, where she predicted, “I am confident Epstein’s flight logs & black book will be brought to light so we can break apart these sex trafficking rings.”
Blackburn first endorsed Trump’s nomination of Patel on Saturday, writing that she looked “forward to working with” him to release Epstein’s flight logs and client list.
She added, “Under the Trump administration, the American people are going to get answers.”
Blackburn has repeatedly sought the release of Epstein’s flight log and black book and reported being censored by Facebook just days before Trump’s nomination of Patel.
“Facebook is trying to silence me and stop me from speaking out about Jeffrey Epstein’s horrific sex trafficking ring,” wrote Blackburn. She then accused Meta, the parent company of Facebook, “Big Tech, and the media have been trying to cover up his alleged abuses for years, and they’ll even go as far as censoring United States senators who want to bring transparency for the American people.”
Both of Tennessee’s U.S. senators have indicated they will vote to confirm Patel as the next FBI Director. Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) revealed that he urged Trump to nominate Patel for a role in his administration.
For his part, Patel previously indicated that not only should the FBI Director release Epstein’s client list but should also release the full manifesto left by Audrey Elizabeth Hale, the biological female who identified as a transgender man when she killed six at the Covenant School on March 27, 2023.
Despite both the FBI and Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) withholding around 10 journals left by the killer, The Tennessee Star obtained Hale’s 2023 journal in June. After publishing about 50 articles revealing its contents, The Star published the journal in September.
